To amend title 39, United States Code, to require post offices to have running water and sanitation facilities, and for other purposes.
Post Office Modernization Act of 2009 - Requires the Postal Service to ensure that every post office has access to running water and bathroom facilities.
Prohibits the Post Office, in making a determination whether or not to close or consolidate a post office, from considering whether the post office meets the requirements of this Act.
