Recognizes the 60th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift as the largest and longest running humanitarian airlift operation in history.
Honors the service and sacrifice of the men and women who participated in and supported the Airlift.
Commends the close friendship forged between the American, British, and German people through the Airlift.
Applauds the men and women of the U.S. Air Force's Air Mobility Command who still work diligently to provide hope, save lives, and deliver freedom around the world in support of U.S. foreign policy objectives.
