Designates the week beginning May 26, 2008, as National Hurricane Preparedness Week.
Encourages people to prepare for the hurricane season and to promote awareness of the dangers of hurricanes.
Recognizes the threats posed by hurricanes and the need for the people to learn more about preparedness to minimize the impacts of, and respond more effectively to, hurricanes.
