Honors the city of Minneapolis, first responders, and the citizens of Minnesota for their efforts in responding to the collapse of the Interstate Route 35W Mississippi River Bridge. Recognizes the leadership and commitment of the elected officials of the city, the state, and Hennepin County.
Extends sympathy to the families of those lost.
Reaffirms support and commitment to all of the nation's law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians as they selflessly serve their communities.
