Recognizes the importance of increasing access to safe drinking water and sanitation as well as the conservation and sustainable management of water resources.
Urges an increased effort and the investment of greater resources by the Department of State, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and all relevant federal agencies towards providing sustainable and equitable access to safe drinking water and sanitation for the poor and very poor.
