Recognizes the importance of the signing of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Dayton Peace Accords).
Reaffirms the U.S. commitment to the goals enunciated in the Dayton Peace Accords, including: (1) recognizing Bosnia and Herzegovina as a sovereign nation; (2) recognizing the constitutional protection of Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina; and (3) protecting the human and political rights of all people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks.
