To provide for an increased maximum civil penalty for violations under the Consumer Product Safety Act.
Product Safety Civil Penalties Improvement Act - Amends the Consumer Product Safety Act, the Federal Hazardous Substances Act, and the Flammable Fabrics Act to increase the maximum civil penalty for violations of those Acts from $1.25 million to $10 million.
Revises the factors to be considered in determining the amount of those penalties.
