Welcomes the strong United States-Moldova relationship.
Recognizes that a precondition for Moldova's full integration into the Western community of nations is the establishment of a democratic political system in Moldova.
Supports the independence and territorial integrity of Moldova.
Urges the Government of Moldova to ensure: (1) the full transparency of the March 2005 parliamentary elections; (2) the right to vote for all citizens of Moldova; (3) access by all parties and candidates to print, radio, television, and Internet media; and (4) the right of opposition candidates and workers to engage in campaigning free of discrimination and intimidation.
Pledges the Senate's support to the people of Moldova for: (1) a democratic system; (2) a free market economy, (3) a secure independence; and (4) Moldova as a full member of the Western community of democracies.
