A bill to provide enhanced criminal penalties for willful violations of occupational standards for asbestos.
Asbestos Standards Enforcement Act of 2005 - Amends the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 to subject any employer convicted of willfully violating a standard issued with respect to the control of occupational exposure to asbestos to a fine and/or up to five years' imprisonment for a first offense or a fine and/or up to 10 years' imprisonment for subsequent convictions.
