Effective Physician Assistance for Drug Treatment Act - Amends the Controlled Substances Act to allow a medical practitioner who dispenses narcotic drugs to individuals for maintenance or detoxification treatment to treat up to 100 patients at any one time (currently, limited to 30) after submitting a notification of need and intent to the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
