Extending the Child Safety Pilot Program Act of 2005 - Amends the PROTECT Act to extend the Child Safety Pilot Program, under which volunteer organizations serving children and youth may obtain criminal history background checks on their volunteers, for an additional 30-month period.
Expands the types of volunteer organizations eligible to participate in such program.
Shortens deadlines for return of background check results under such program.
