A bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to expand the State sentences for which burial in National Cemeteries and Arlington National Cemetery are prohibited to include any sentence of life imprisonment for a State capital crime.

Expands the prohibition against interment or memorialization in the National Cemetery System for persons convicted of a State capital crime for which the person was sentenced to life imprisonment to include any sentence of life imprisonment. (Currently, the prohibition applies only to a sentence of life imprisonment without parole).
