A bill to award grants to eligible entities to enable the entities to reduce the rate of underage alcohol use and binge drinking among students at institutions of higher education.
Campus-Based Underage Alcohol Use Reduction Act - Directs the Secretary of Education to award grants to reduce the rate of underage alcohol use and binge drinking among students at institutions of higher education (IHEs).
Makes states, IHEs, or nonprofit entities eligible for such grants. Requires grantees to: (1) enhance or build a statewide coalition; (2) target underage students in the state; (3) ensure statewide coalition movement toward program achievement indicators; (4) work with state agencies on substance abuse prevention and education; and (5) engage in outreach.
