To amend title 10, United States Code, to provide that, in the case of any member or former member of a reserve component of the Armed Forces who is deployed to a combat theater due to an administrative error by the Department of Defense, the member shall be given nonregular service retirement credit equal to six times the length of the mistaken deployment.
Erroneous Deployment Compensation Act - Increases nonregular service retirement credits for members or former members of reserve components of the Armed Forces who were ordered to active duty after September 11, 2001, and deployed to a combat area only by reason of an administrative error by the Department of Defense.
