To amend title 10, United States Code, to provide equity between active and reserve component members of the Armed Forces in the computation of disability retired pay for members wounded in action.
Staff Sergeant Carlos Farler Citizen Soldier Equality Act of 2006 - Requires that, in the case of a reserve member of the Armed Forces who is retired due to disability incurred as a result of being wounded in action, or whose name is placed on the temporary disability retired list because of a disability incurred for which the member is awarded the Purple Heart, such member shall be credited with the same number of years of service that would be credited to a member of the regular (non-reserve) Armed Forces for such service.
