TANF and Child Care Continuation Act of 2005 - Extends through March 31, 2006, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program under part A of title IV of the Social Security Act (SSA) and the national random sample study of child welfare and child welfare waiver authority under SSA.
Requires the Secretary, for FY2006-FY2010, to reduce the amount of each state grant involving a bonus to reward a decrease in the state's illegitimacy ratio by an equal percentage necessary to ensure that the total amount of such grants paid does not exceed $73 million.
