Authorizes the Secretary of Education to make one-year grants for regional workshops and follow-up training designed to permit sharing of successful strategies for improving mathematics and science instruction in elementary and secondary schools.
Makes eligible for such grants partnerships described under the Mathematics and Science Partnerships program of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. Includes strategies for carrying out program activities among those to be shared under this Act. Provides for such sharing by educators, administrators responsible for professional or curriculum development, and faculty of teacher training departments of institutions of higher education.
