TANF Extension Act of 2005 - Reauthorizes and extends through September 30, 2005, in the manner authorized for FY2004, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Block Grant Program under part A of title IV of the Social Security Act (SSA), funding for state abstinence education programs under SSA title V (Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant), and eligibility for Transitional Medical Assistance (TMA) under SSA title XIX (Medicaid).
Reauthorizes and extends the national random sample study of child welfare and child welfare waiver authority through September 30, 2005, in the manner authorized for FY2004.
