To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act with respect to the record of admission for permanent residence in the case of certain aliens.
Date of Registry and Legal Amnesty Restoration Act of 2005 - Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to update the statutory eligibility date for the registry program.
Authorizes aliens who have lived continuously in the United States since 1986 and are able to demonstrate good moral character to apply for permanent resident status.
Establishes a rolling registry system to automatically update the statutory eligibility date for registry each year, beginning in 2006 and ending in 2010.
