Calls on the Director of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases to expand basic, clinical, and genetic research regarding viral hepatitis.
Urges the Director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to give priority consideration to establishing a national viral hepatitis roundtable to provide leadership, support, and organization.
