Expresses the sense of the Senate that the United States: (1) applauds the steadfast commitment of the people of Afghanistan to achieve government through democracy; (2) strongly supports self-government and the protection of human rights and freedom of conscience for all men and women in Afghanistan; and (3) remains committed to a long-term partnership with the people of Afghanistan and to a peaceful future for Afghanistan.
