Expresses serious concern about the continuing menace posed by polio. Encourages the United Nations, the private sector, States, and international financial institutions to act to eradicate polio. Calls upon the United States to continue its contribution to the multilateral polio eradication effort, including closely monitoring laboratory stocks of the polio virus.
