A concurrent resolution establishing a special task force to recommend an appropriate recognition for the slave laborers who worked on the construction of the United States Capitol.
Directs the Majority Leader of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives to establish a special task force (including the Senate and House Historians, the Architect of the Capitol, and the Librarian of Congress) to: (1) study the history and contributions of slave laborers in the construction of the U.S. Capitol; (2) produce a summary document and available research for the public; and (3) recommend appropriate recognition which could be displayed in a prominent location in or near the Capitol.
