A bill to amend section 641 of the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003 to improve the coverage of certain prescription drugs and biologicals under the medicare replacement drug demonstration project.
Medicare Replacement Drug Demonstration Project Improvement Act of 2004 - Amends the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003 to: (1) require the Secretary to negotiate the lowest possible price for the drugs and biologicals for which payment is made under the Medicare replacement drug demonstration project; and (2) eliminate limitations on funding for such project.
