Mr. Akaka (for himself and Mr. Voinovich) introduced the following
bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on
Governmental Affairs

A BILL
To amend chapter 90 of title 5, United States Code, to include
employees of the District of Columbia courts as participants in long
term care insurance for Federal employees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE
DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA COURTS.
Section 9001(1) of title 5, United States Code, is amended--
(1) in subparagraph (C), by striking ``and'';
(2) in subparagraph (D), by striking the period and
inserting a semicolon and ``and''; and
(3) by adding at the end the following:
``(E) an employee of the District of Columbia
courts.''.
