Amends the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act of 1940 to allow a person in military service to terminate a contract for the lease of a motor vehicle, a telecommunications contract, or a contract for the purchase of a residence at any time after: (1) entry into military service; or (2) the date of the lessee's station or deployment orders. (Currently, such a person may terminate only a residential lease and only after entry into military service.)
Requires, in order for such terminations to occur: (1) the call or order to service or the deployment period to be for at least 90 days, in the case of the motor vehicle lease or the telecommunications contract; and (2) the deployment period to be at least 90 days, in the case of the contract for the purchase of a residence.
