To amend the Fair Credit Reporting Act to require consumer reporting agencies to notify consumers when negative information is added to the consumer's file at such agency, and for other purposes.
Negative Credit Notification Act - Amends the Fair Credit Reporting Act to require a consumer reporting agency to notify the consumer that it is including information in the consumer's file that is, or may be construed as being, adverse to the consumer's interests, together with a brief description sufficient to allow the consumer to determine the accuracy, completeness, and source of such information.
