Summary

National Day of Remembrance Act of 2001 - Designates September 11 as National Day of Remembrance. Calls upon the President to issue each year a proclamation to remember those who lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001, and to honor the police, firefighters, and emergency personnel who responded with such valor on that day.
