A bill to require the Secretary of Energy to study the feasibility of developing commercial nuclear energy production facilities at existing Department of Energy sites.

Instructs the Secretary of Energy to study and report to Congress on: (1) the feasibility of developing commercial nuclear energy production facilities at Department of Energy (DOE) sites, including nuclear power plants on such sites, and the resultant cost savings to the Federal Government; and (2) potential improvements in licensing and safety oversight procedures regarding such plant sites, as well as an assessment of the effects of nuclear waste management policies and projects as a result of such site locations.
