Summary

Unemployment Protection for Low-Income Families on TANF Act of 2002 (UPLIFT Act of 2002) -Amends part A (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) (TANF) of title IV of the Social Security Act (SSA) to provide for the disregard of months of assistance received during periods of high unemployment for purposes of the five year limit on assistance under TANF.
