A bill to authorize the National Science Foundation and the National Security Agency to establish programs to increase the number of qualified faculty teaching advanced courses conducting research in the field of cybersecurity, and for other purposes.
Authorizes the Director of the National Security Agency to award grants to qualified institutions for cybersecurity awareness, training, and education programs, including centers for studies and centers for faculty development.
Directs the Comptroller General to study, collect data, and report on the cybersecurity workforce and on academic cybersecurity research facilities.
