A bill to authorize payments to certain Lama Project water distribution entities for amounts assessed by the entities for operation and maintenance of the Project's irrigation works for 2001, to authorize funds to such entities of amounts collected by the Bureau of Reclamation for reserved works for 2001, and for other purposes.
Authorizes the Secretary to: (1) waive any requirement that an entity pay remaining or additional charges for operation and maintenance of Project reserved works for 2001; (2) pay to any individual within the Project who holds a contract entered into pursuant to the Warren Act and who is not within a district that receives a payment and waiver a refund equal to the amount collected from such individual; and (3) forego collection from such individual of operation and maintenance charges for the remainder of 2001.
