A bill to authorize the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to establish a grant program to support research projects on critical infrastructure protection for water supply systems, and for other purposes.
Requires the Administrator to: (1) disseminate information to water supply systems on the results of a project as soon as practicable after they have been evaluated; and (2) report to Congress periodically on this program.
Authorizes appropriations.
Directs the Administrator, for each of FY 2002 and 2003, to use $20 million to assist small water supply systems in complying with requirements concerning arsenic in drinking water.
