Recognizes, on behalf of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, the following four professors as United States Professors of the Year: (1) Alicia Juarrero of Price George's Community College in Maryland; (2) James Adams of Manchester College in Indiana; (3) Francisco Jimenez of Santa Clara College in California; and (4) Dennis Jacobs of the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
