Waives provisions of rule XIII of the House of Representatives that require a two-thirds vote to consider a report from the Committee on Rules on the same day it is presented to the House with respect to any resolution reported on the legislative day of November 14, 2002, to provide for the consideration or disposition of a conference report to accompany H.R. 4628 (FY 2003 authorization for intelligence and intelligence-related activities).

                               RESOLUTION


 
   Waiving a requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII with respect to 
  consideration of certain resolutions reported from the Committee on 
                                 Rules.

    Resolved, That the requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII for a 
two-thirds vote to consider a report from the Committee on Rules on the 
same day it is presented to the House is waived with respect to any 
resolution reported on the legislative day of Thursday, November 14, 
2002, providing for consideration or disposition of a conference report 
to accompany the bill (H.R. 4628) to authorize appropriations for 
fiscal year 2003 for intelligence and intelligence-related activities 
of the United States Government, the Community Management Account, and 
the Central Intelligence Agency Retirement and Disability System, and 
for other purposes.
