To provide grants to State educational agencies and local educational agencies for the provision of classroom-related technology training for elementary and secondary school teachers.
Requires an SEA to award at least one grant to an LEA that meets criteria established by the Secretary. Directs the Secretary to award one grant to each SEA that applies, if appropriations reach a certain level for a fiscal year. Allows LEA use of grant funds to provide such training by LEA personnel on school premises.
