Summary

Emergency Food Assistance Program Enhancement Act of 2001 - Amends the Food Stamp Act of 1977 to direct the Secretary of Agriculture to use specified amounts of excess food stamp ,program funds not otherwise reallocated to another State to purchase additional agricultural commodities for emergency food assistance.

Amends the Emergency Food Assistance Act of 1983 to include (commodity) storage as a permitted fund use.
