Requires the Secretary to: (1) gather specified information on cultural heritage resources and activities and make it available on an Internet site and by nonelectric means; and (2) establish a program for designing and making awards to persons, including Indian tribes, Federal agencies, and State or local governments, to recognize exemplary projects or programs that carry out the purposes of the Partnership Program.
Establishes the: (1) Cultural Heritage Citizens Advisory Committee; and (2) the Federal Cultural Heritage Coordinating Council.
Authorizes the Secretary to make competitive grants for up to 50 percent of the total cost of a project to States, Indian tribes, local governments, and nonprofit organizations for projects to carry out the Program's purposes.
