To ensure that schools develop and implement comprehensive school safety plans.
Requires LEAs to use such subgrants to: (1) assess the current status of school crime committed on school campuses and at school-related functions; (2) identify appropriate strategies and programs that will provide or maintain a high level of school safety; and (3) provide each school served by such agency a safe and orderly environment conducive to learning.
