Calls for the U.S. Government to urge the Chinese Government to: (1) release from detention all Falun Gong practitioners and end the torture and other cruel, inhumane, and degrading treatment of such practitioners and other prisoners of conscience; and (2) abide by the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by allowing Falun Gong practitioners to pursue their personal beliefs.
Calls on the U.S. Government to: (1) investigate allegations of illegal activities of the Chinese Government and its representatives and agents in the United States, including the harassment of U.S. citizens and residents who practice Falun Gong and of State and local officials who support it; and (2) take appropriate action, including enforcement of the immigration laws, against any such representatives or agents who engage in such illegal activities.
