A bill to amend the Quinebaug and Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor Act of 1994 to expand the boundaries of the Corridor
Names Quinebaug- Shetucket Heritage Corridor, Inc. the management entity for the Corridor, with authority to make grants or loans to the States, local governments, nonprofit organizations, and other persons to further the goals set forth in the management plan adopted by the Governor of Connecticut on February 16, 1999.
Specifies regional planning organizations in Massachusetts which shall be involved in preserving the Corridor and ensuring appropriate use of lands and structures throughout it.
Increases the authorization of appropriations, and makes it permanent.
