A bill to assure that recreation and other economic benefits are accorded the same weight as hurricane and storm damage reduction benefits as well as environmental restoration benefits.
Provides that specified provisions of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 prescribing the non-Federal share of the cost assigned to other project purposes of flood control projects shall not apply to such shore protection projects.
