Summary

Veterans Mission for Youth Act - Amends the Troops-to-Teachers Program Act (title XVII of the National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2000) to direct the Secretary of Defense, through the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support Division of the Department of Defense, to establish a Veterans Mission for Youth Initiative to award grants to eligible organizations to carry out programs through which veterans provide mentoring, tutoring, after-school, and other services for youth.

Authorizes appropriations.
