A bill to provide that children's sleepwear shall be manufactured in accordance with stricter flammability standards.
Provides that: (1) the Consumer Product Safety Act, the Flammable Fabrics Act, the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act of 1996, or any other statute or executive order shall not apply with respect to the promulgation of such rule; and (2) sleepwear manufactured or imported before the effective date of the Commission's revocation shall not be considered in violation of the Flammable Fabrics Act if it complied with the rules in effect at the time it was manufactured or imported.
