Waiving a requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII with respect to consideration of certain resolutions reported from the Committee on Rules.

Waives provisions of rule XIII of the House of Representatives that require a two-thirds vote to consider a report from the Committee on Rules on the same day it is presented to the House with respect to resolutions reported by such Committee on or before the legislative day of November 17, 1999, to provide for the consideration or disposition of either of the following measures, including any amendment, conference report, or any amendment from conference in disagreement thereon: (1) a bill or joint resolution making continuing appropriations for FY 2000; or (2) legislation making general appropriations for such fiscal year.
