Summary

Medicare Drug Cost Savings Act of 2000 - Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to provide Medicare coverage of self-administered drugs used as a replacement for certain covered drugs.

Directs the Comptroller General to study and report to Congress on implementation of such self-administered drug program.
