To strengthen the special examination authority of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in order to protect the Bank Insurance Fund and the Savings Association Insurance Fund, and for other purposes.
Mandates that the Federal banking agencies: (1) grant access to the FDIC in as prompt a manner as practicable with respect to reports of examination and reports of conditions; and (2) establish procedures for providing the FDIC with access to additional information as needed for insurance purposes.
