To provide the State of Oregon with a role in decisions made on environmental restoration and waste management at the Department of Energy's Hanford Reservation.
Hanford Environmental Cleanup Act of 1999 - Declares that the State of Oregon shall have the same rights as the State of Washington to participate in decisions regarding the management, cleanup, and disposal of hazardous and radioactive wastes at the Hanford Reservation, including the right to participate as a party in negotiations, dispute resolution, and enforcement actions of the existing Hanford Federal Facility Agreement and the Hanford Tri-Party Agreement. Instructs the existing parties to such Agreements to provide the State of Oregon the right to participate fully in such negotiations, dispute resolution, and enforcement actions.
