Calls upon the President and the Secretary of the Interior to: (1) disclose immediately to the public any plans for additional national monument declarations; and (2) seek formal input from all stakeholders, State and local governments, and Congress before declaring any national monument, including the Sequoia National Monument, in a manner that is consistent with H.R. 1487 (national monument declarations) as passed by the House of Representatives and reported favorably by the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources in the106th Congress.
