A joint resolution granting the consent and approval of Congress for the State of Maryland, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the District of Columbia to amend the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Regulation Compact.

Grants the consent of the Congress to amendments to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Regulation Compact by the State of Maryland, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the District of Columbia with respect to public hearing requirements and empowerment of transit police to carry off-duty weapons issued by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.
